New week.....

Well, its my new week. Worked on my sister in laws car yesterday and it got me outa here for a day which is what I needed. Had to fix the serpertine belt in her car, my brother neglected to do it when he had the car. I geuss you just have to call the right ghostbuster.

Today my shoulders are hurting big time, one of the reasons why I need to revamp my workouts. My shoulders are big time loaded with arthritis. I've seen many a pictures of packages that I would love to attain but never will. I'm already a big boy, no doubt~I've just got to accept some cold hard facts.

I can only go so heavy with the chest presses because of my healing rotator cuff injury, something I'd love to ignore but can't. It was July 1st when it was operated on, so technically I'm still recouperating.

Needing to also do some dietary changes, need to jack up the protein and cut the carbs at night, all the carbs. Lately I've been waking in the middle of the night, hungry as all getout.

Well, need to finish the coffee and get to the cardio.

Friday.......

Skipped a journal day yesterday, I did legs, really half assed. I was trying to get on FB and I couldn't remember my password, ever have that happen to you?

Anywho, between trying to time it and walking the mall for a warm up, just got out sync....

I'm doing back and abs today, hoping I'll be a bit more satisfied as to my results.

Well, its Wednesday.....

Well, I redid my schedule for my meds this morning, which means now I can sleep in. I actually did it yesterday but I didn't log in yesterday.

I didn't work out yesterday and I managed to do 7 laps in the mall, 4-4 1/2 in the morning and 3 at night. Needless to say it took a toll on my ankles, its raining today and they hurt big time. My strenuous panned workout schedule is gonna get somewhat of a kink in it. Here's a sample of what it was gonna be:

Monday:Back/biceps-am*****pm/Forearms
Tuesday:Chest/Shoulders*****pm/abs-calves
Wednesday:Off~possible mall walk
Thursday:Legs/Triceps
Friday:Off~No cardio/movies/hobbies
Saturday:Back*****pm/abs/calves
Sunday:Chest/Biceps*****pm/Forearms
Monday:Off/Cardio~bike or mall
Tuesday:Shoulders/Triceps*****pm??
Wednesday:Legs*****pm??

Thats my planned workout schedule, the pm is planned but not set in stone by any means. The days that my wife has off, I'd rather take the whole day off. What I want to do and what my body tells me it can do is 2 different things. Need time for recouperation, just that simple........

Went shopping at got 2 movies from netflix, pretty good evening. Soreness is going away, kinda nice.........

Well, its tomorrow............

I did a back/biceps workout yesterday, it lit me up rather well. I can feel the soreness in my lats this morning. I need to get up a fixed routine for abs though, have the roller that I bought when Jeff a workout buddy I used to have turned me onto a ab workout from 'oxygen' magazine. Might be able to do it now.

I remember when I hated to do cardio when I first started this venture, now its a habit because I know I need it. I have to get up an ab routine that I can stick to, basically because I know I'm gonna need it. Then I need to impliment days off simply because I'm gonna need it.

I start monitor class at the end of the month and except for all the other needless wastes of time I have, I need to get my head wrapped around it. Its alot of work but its also in my future.

Getting my coffee in me and waking up somewhat.

My niece just called me, seems my sister in law is in the hospital. She went in last night not feeling well with stomach and back pains. She is in the process of moving and my brothers birthday 'would' have been this month, is that enought to screw someone's head up or what? My niece was figuring I would run to her side but right at this moment its simply not the case. Me and the wife will discuss this later on, its not my role. I knew this would happen, we discussed the many events at a late night snack the other night after a seminar, people are doubting that I know what I'm talking about. Coffee to finish and cardio.............later.

I got 20 minutes on the bike, not in the mood for the treadmill today, I have to uncover it anyway. Niece called me up again, she's hinting for me to go up to sit with sister in law but its not happening. I have some other things that need to get done today..........

I did however go to the gym, did chest and shoulders. I have to go easy on chest cause I'm still healing with the rotator cuff injury.

Time to prioritize....

Today is Sunday, I'd usually take this day off but I'm doing back and biceps today, actually once I really dump my thoughts out here which is what I've begun to use this for I'm gonna make up a work-out.
Went to a seminar for married couple over the weekend, it was a powerful event to say the least! Imagine if you will have a disagreement with your spouse, now imagine recording this event, playing it back in its entirety and picking it apart piece by piece.....after doing that, picking apart the reason why the whole disagreement started.

The couple who puts on this seminar did just that, its called love and respect, very enlightening. Dr. Emerson Eggerichs also throws in alot of humor which sets the stage.

Went to see my spine doctor on Friday, we spoke of numerous points. I got down to the nitty grity and asked him how much more should I expect, I've done this before but this was the finishing touches. Right now I'm getting small bits and pieces, actually very minute ones. The biggest thing right now standing in my way is my large stomach.

I have been lifting for close to 3 weeks and not doing any cardio and it shows. I wore a coat given to me by my sister-in-law, it was my brothers. I first tryed it and it fit very well as did 2 of his new suits, these suits were bought by his future business protege. I wore the casual sportcoat to the couples seminar and needless to say if my shoulders get any bigger, I won't be able to wear it.

Gotta finish my coffee and do cardio....need to prioritize........more later....

6:30pm, I did an hour of ass bustin cardio this AM, went to the gym and did back/biceps, I'll do forearms at home with a 5 pound weight and a rope. Hooking up the DVD to watch movies with the wife tonight, bout time we spent some quality time together.
